Evening shows debut on Thursday, April 21, and continue on Friday and Saturday nights, April 22 and 23, with performances at 7 p.m. Previous shows we have performed are: West Side Story, All Shook Up, Chicago, Footloose, Whistle Down the Wind, Grease, Rock of Ages and Beauty and the Beast. Our shows are carefully selected to enable maximum student involvement and are also enjoyable to both the students and audience. These are large senior productions involving over 80 students in singing, music, acting and dancing roles. NGHS musicals are high quality productions and performed in the Municipal Theatre giving the students the opportunity to experience a professional musical production. Every second year the musical is produced by Napier Girls' HIgh School. Each year our students have the opportunity to perform in a school musical combined with students from Napier Boys’ High School. Musicals are an important part of the culture of NGHS.
